These cookie dough bites are a staple snack in our house. They keep well, IF you keep them around, and they travel well too. If doing Paleo or GAPS, just use almond butter. You can add in chia powder or flax powder for extra fatty acids as well. I originally saw the recipe at one of my favorite real food blogs, Riddlelove. You can customize this in so many ways, it quickly becomes your own with your own flavor. I changed it around a bit to fit what I always have on hand. Please check out the original as well 🙂
1 cup nut butter (peanut or almond, no peanut if doing Paleo)
1/2 c Raw honey (I LOVE this one)
1/4-1/2 c coconut flour
1/2 teaspoon mineral rich salt. This is optional, but every time you can sneak more minerals in your food, you should. (This is one that I love for it’s purity and high mineral content)
1/2 c or more of dark chocolate chips
For the rest of the steps, please check out the post Healthy Cookie Dough Balls over at Riddlelove.com.
